Barbara White (Smith)

Barbara White, age 91, of Athens, GA passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Haven Memory Care in Athens, Georgia.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Monday, June 23, 2025, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Dr. C.R. Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Sunday, June 22, 2025, and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Monday, June 23, 2025 at the South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by, Parents: J. D. and Avis Smith, Husband: Farrell White, Son: Milton "Mitch" Thomas White and Brother: James Lanier Smith

Survivors include:

Daughter - Donna and Larry Bodiford

Daughter - Karen Sue and Al Fuller

Daughter - Demeris and William Berner

Grandchildren - Brandon (Lauren) Bodiford, Jeffrey (Angela) Bodiford, Chelsi (Idalia) Castro, Dusty (Julia) Berner and Matthew (Elizabeth) Berner and Amanda White, Stephanie White and Jessica Green

Sister - Willie Jean and Doyle Bailey

Brother - Arlin and Barbara Smith

Sister-in-law - Hannah Laura Smith

Great Grand Children - Harrison Bodiford, Henry Bodiford, Smith Bodiford, Talmage Bodiford, Lucas Castro, Dinah Berner, Maze Berner, Jaxx Berner, Charlie Grace Berner, Amiyah Clark, Gianna Pascarella and Ava White
