Obituary for Wynelle Brast

Minnie Wynelle Brast, age 85, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Cameron Hall. She was born and spent her life in Cherokee County in Canton. Her childhood was a happy one, spent on the family farm, the only girl among her five beloved brothers. Wynelle knew and appreciated the value of working hard, a value that would stay with her throughout her life. In her adult life she was a tallented seamstress for many years all while raising her two sons Barry & Ricky who were the pride and joy of her life. Grandchildren & great grandchildren would follow, and times spent with the “kids” were her happiest and most treasured memories. Especially Christmas! Anyone who knew Granny appreciated her over-the-top holidays, and her pure joy of Christmas time. Outside of her family, Wynelle had a lifelong passion and gift for gardening. She planted flowers, trees, and vegetables of all varieties. She truly adored being in her garden and instilled this love of the outdoors in several of her grandchildren. Wynelle was a beautiful lady who never failed to be kind to all in her path.
