Obituary for William "Bill" Hebrank

William "Bill" Hebrank, age 66, of Canton, Ga passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his residence.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, on Saturday, January 16, 2021, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Burdick offiiciating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2021, at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was born in Baltimore, Maryland then lived in Baltimore, Philaphelphia, Greenville, SC., Georgia, Colorado and Puerto Rico.

He attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia then transferred and completed his Bachelor of Science at University of Colorado Boulder.

He had a career in medical supply sales and eventually opened his own company in Puerto Rico with his wife for many years as well as maintaining a real estate career throughout Georgia. He retired to his home in Canton where he spent his time working around the house, daily hikes with his dog around Lake Allatoona, camping and enjoying yoga, spiritual expression and sharing time with his friends and family.

While at Boulder he developed his passion for the great outdoors as well as his love of the Rockies. Frequenting climbs and backpack trips in the Flat Irons, Green Mountain and various other outdoor adventures. A rugged individual at heart , he was even known for skipping the airlines and hopping a railroad boxcar to get home for the holidays.

He was a very active individual; an avid and accomplished tennis player (winning several Alta Tennis Tournaments), Boat Enthusiast, Water Skier, Scuba Diver, Hiker, Backpacker, Cross Country Skier, or anything related to exercise and fresh air. Always being the adventurer, he enjoyed two motorcycle trips to Alaska. Bill was always one to err on the side of adventure and discovery. He was an avid reader and lover of nature and the beautiful earth he lived on.

HIS WISH WITH EVERY PRAYER WAS TO END ALL SUFFERING OF THE WORLD.

Beloved Grandchildren Olivia, Wyatt and Max Laughridge
Brothers - Jack and Tom Hebrank
Sister - Sue Chrome
Nieces and Nephews - Lindsey, Marty, Kelly and Andy Hebrank; Joey, Billy and Jeanie Chrome
