Obituary for William Earle Harmon

Born in Newberry Co., SC on Jul. 18, 1929

Graveside services for William Earle Harmon will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2009, at Glenn Haven Memorial Gardens. Earle, 80, was born July 18, 1929 in Newberry SC. He was the son of the late Oscar W. and Ella Hyler Harmon. He was a member of the Bonaire United Methodist Church. Earle served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War and was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of NARFE and AAPR Union, and was a LT. in the Bonaire/Kathleen Fire Department. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Beth Harmon of White, GA; three granddaughters, Brandi Lawson, Jessica Benson and Cassie Pickett; seven great grandchildren, Jaide, Dominic, Chase, Janee, Riley, Adalynn and Aubrey.
