Obituary for William Eugene Carlisle Rev.

Rev. William Eugene Carlisle, age 87, of Canton, GA passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at his residence. Rev. Carlisle and his wife Willie were married for 66 years. He served as a minister for 40 years in Pickens, Cherokee, & Bartow Counties.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 24 from the New Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Mayo, Rev. Thomas Wheeler, & Rev. Adam Parker officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday and from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday at South Canton Funeral Home.



Survivors include:

wife- Willie Dee Carlisle, Canton

sons- Dennis (Jackie) Carlisle, Canton; Marvin C. Carlisle, Canton

daughters- Glenda (Mike) Owens, Marble Hill; Carolyn (Kelly) Handley, Canton

sisters- Bronzie Orr, Marietta; Elaine Carlisle, Marietta

4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren
