Walter Frye, age 72, of Canton, GA passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his residence. He served in the United States Army for 4 years in Field Artillery Cannon Operations as a Fire Direction Assistant. Mr. Frye was involved in the Moose Lodge and loved Golf, Nascar, Alabama College Football and the Atlanta Braves.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home.

At the request of Mr. Frye, his body will be cremated following the Funeral Service and his cremains be placed in the Georgia National Cemetery, with United States Army Honors, at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, April 29, 2022, and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2022 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Mother: Minnie Marie Fowler, Brother: Robert Wilson Frye, Sister: Beverly Scott, Brother: Marcus Terry Frye and Father: Marcus Robert Frye

Survivors include:
Wife - Donna Frye
Son - Justus Clayborn Frye
Son - Samuel Paul Frye
Brothers - Edward Lee Frye and Rufus Anthony Fowler
Sisters - Barbara Fountain, Betty Marie Whitley, Cynthia K. Lewis
5 - Grandchildren
6 - Great Grandchildren
Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
