Obituary for Vernard Hoover Sr.

Vernard "Sticks" Hoover, Sr. age 63, of Canton, GA passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, GA.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Carter McLnnis officiating.



Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at South Canton Funeral Home.



Survivors include his companion, Brenda Rai Smith Ragland, Canton; son, Vernard Hoover, Jr., Hampton; daughter, Kelli Hoover, Peakskill, NY; brothers, Shahid Young, NY and Ronald Hoover, VA; sisters, Carolyn Hoover and Jacqueline Hoover, Atlanta; 2 grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, dear friends and musical co.
