Obituary for Van Zeigler Cochran Jr.

In his youth, Van enjoyed his time as an Eagle Scout. As an adult, he worked for GA Power Southern Company for 39 years before retiring. He loved traveling, football, racing, math, animals, and spending time with family.
Van was preceded in death by his parents, Van Z. Cochran, Sr. and Janie Slayton Cochran, sister Beverly Mimms and Brother-in-Law “Bro” Ricky Chambers.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Van’s life at 2 pm on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at South Canton Funeral Home with Rev Tyson Smith officiating.
