Obituary for Tommy Odell "Tom" King

Tom King, age 77, of Woodstock, GA passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at his residence. He retired as a manager with General Electric, was a U.S. Army Veteran, an avid Thoroughbred Horse Breeder and attended Sunnyside Church of God.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Thursday, December 01, 2011, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Brown and Pastor Ken May officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.



The family will receive friends on from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 and from 10:00 AM unti 10:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at South Canton Funeral Home.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Myrtie King and sister, Maud Little.



Survivors include his daughter, Alaina (Randy) Phillips, Canton; grandchildren, Shayna Kisella and Amberly Kisella; step-grandchildren, Lisa Phillips and Carlton Philips.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, P.O. Box 803, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
