We could not have asked for a better neighbor. Your wave across the street. Getting to hear you playing your guitar in the evening. Or just sharing a quick chat. You will be missed.

I never met Tim in person but was a member of a guitar forum he was a part of as well. Some people think that a person can't touch your life unless you live in the same town, but that is not true. We knew Tim by his forum name "Splatter" and I had just recently been talking about guitars with him online. Our forum consists of guitar players across the U.S. and other parts of the world, all with a love of playing guitar. He posted a message on the forum before going into the hospital and when we hadn't heard back, one member who had recently contacted him, did some research and found out what we all didn't want to hear.

I felt like God was talking to me today, and when one of the forum members found his obituary, I wanted to reach out to his family. He had a positive attitude on the forum and even with his health issues, he was strong and just seemed ready for whatever was going to come his way. Today I was looking at one touching thing he wrote on the forum and I wanted to make sure his family knew about it. He was telling another forum member how getting old is not fun and that health problems can interfere, etc. But after that he said "At least I have my guitars, my family, and God" and it made me smile. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet Tim. He seemed like such a positive guy and everyone on the forum really liked him. Like I said, so many people were posting messages about how they were praying for him and wanted to know if we had heard anything.

Tim and I were both getting custom guitars made from the same builder. Recently, he told me that his is supposed to be completed in early December and knew mine was due to be completed the next month. I reached out to his builder and told him the unfortunately news. I wanted him to know that Tim had passed and had a guitar he was waiting for. I hope he can get a hold of you so your family can have this one last guitar of his. My email address is mjpuskas@hotmail.com. Please don't hesitate to reach out and I can help get you guys in touch with the builder. His company is Chubtone Guitars and his email is chubtone@yahoo.com. I hope someone in his family sees this message or a friend passes on the information.

Prayers to your family during this difficult time. I wanted to reach out on behalf of all of his guitar playing forum buddies at Rig-Talk and just let you know that even through a computer screen, he touched our lives and we are saddened by the news of his passing.
