Obituary for Thomas "Tom" Kaiser

Thomas Harry Kaiser of Canton GA, a retired owner / operator of Certified Tech Marine in Acworth GA, passed peacefully on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton GA. He was 68.

Mr. Kaiser was born to the late Laura V. Schoonmaker Kaiser and the late Clarence H. Kaiser on September 24 1952, in Kingston NY. He was a member of Sutallee Baptist Church in White. He was a USAF Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Kaiser was a founding member of the Clayton House for Alcoholics Anonymous and Recovery Treatment in Jonesboro GA. He was a Past Post Commander of the American Legion, and past member of the Canton Moose Lodge. Mr. Kaiser volunteered in the local community, helping many organizations throughout the years including the JROTC at Cherokee High School, MUST Ministries, and many others.

Mr. Kaiser is survived by his wife, Marylin Little Kaiser; two daughters, Kristine Kaiser of Canton GA, Jessica Elliot Faulk of Anniston AL ; one son, Thomas “TJ” Kaiser of Canton GA; six sisters, Catherine White of Myrtle Beach SC, Vesta Crawford of Woodstock GA, Ruth Malone of Woodstock GA, Theresa Dwinall of Wappingers Falls, Patricia O’Bryon of Kerhonkson NY and Paula Montanya of Ellenville NY; three brothers, Henry Kaiser of Lebanon GA, John Kaiser of Lake Katrine NY and Michael Kaiser of Parksville NY; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother, Clarence H. Kaiser Jr.

Visitation will be from 9am to 1pm, with funeral services in the chapel at 1pm - Saturday, June 5th, at the South Canton Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be held at 3pm, Tuesday, June 8th, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA. The Reverend Billy Edmonson and Dr. Horace Smithwick will officiate.
