Obituary for Tabitha Dawn Norton (Reno)

Tabitha Dawn Reno Norton, age 31, of Canton, GA (formerly of Soddy Daisy, TN) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 21, 2009, after a short illness. She was a previous Cherokee County Music Teacher and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

She graduated from Soddy Daisy High School and was a member of the band and chorus and was also a member of the Chattanooga Girls Choir. She continued her musical talent at Berry College in Rome, Ga where she was member of The Berry Singers and Sigma Alpha Iota.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 27, 2009, from Hopewell Baptist Church (Sixes Community). Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Chapel on the Hill in Hixson, TN.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Mary Wilson and Aunt Ruth Mills. Survivors include her husband, Justin D. Norton, Canton; son and daughter Malachi and Mary Ruth Norton, Canton; parents, Tracy and Laura Reno, Soddy Daisy, TN; grandparents, Mildred & Noah Reno and Eva McDade, Soddy Daisy, TN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Butch and Rebecca Norton, Canton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jacob and Lindsay Norton, Richmond Hill, GA.

She will be greatly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her extended family of The Daisy Church of God.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The Norton Children Educational Fund, c/o Credit Union of Georgia, P.O.
