Obituary for Suan L. Copeland
Born in Cherokee Co., GA on Jul. 7, 1942
Susan L. Copeland, age 67, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at her residence. She retired from the shipping department at J.C. Penney and was a member of Merritt St. Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Dubois officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Pauline Fitts. Survivors include her sons, Jason T. (Mary) Copeland, MA & John T. (Cindy) Copeland, Morrow, GA; brother, Tommy Fitts, Waleska; sister, Lisa Evans, Canton; grandchildren, Adam Boulette, Amanda Copeland, Tamara Copeland, Alisa Copeland & Joshua Copeland; several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday and Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 pm & 5:00 until 8:00 pm and until the funeral hour on Sunday.
