Obituary for Silvestre Martinez

Silvestre Martinez
Silvestre Martinez, age 77, of Canton, GA passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Mr. Martinez was a member of St. Vincent dePaul, of Our Lady of La Salette and the Knight of Columbus. He worked with meals on wheels for sixteen years, the soup kitchen at the church and supported the Sheriff Association. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral Mass services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Thursday, January 3, 2019, from the Our Lady of La Salette with Father Victor Reyes officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery on January 7, 2018 at 9:30 AM.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Our Lady of La Salette.

Survivors include:
Wife - Erika Martinez wife of 33 years
Daughter - Judy Moore
Daughter - Linda Magness
Sister - Virginia Martinez
Sister - Carolina Martinez
Grandchildren - Jamie Norwood, Mark Olaughlin, Nick & Hannah Taylor
Great Grand Child - Mason Taylor
