Obituary for Roy Shields Sr.

Roy Shields, Sr., age 84, of Alpharetta, GA passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.



Mr. Shields was a past member of Woodcarvers Association, National Association of Storytellers, Bonzi Society, Beekeepers Association, & frequent exhibitor at Praters Mill Craft Show in Dalton.



Private Family Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, from the Milton Fields. Celebration of Life Service to be announced at a later date.



Preceded in death by: Sisters: Eva McCall & Janette Reeves, Brothers: Carl Shields& Leonard Shields



Survivors include:

Wife - Sherry Shields, Alpharetta, GA

Sons - Roy (Sheila) Shields, Jr., Canton, &

Donald (Peggy) Shields, Woodbridge, VA

Daughters - Esther Golden, Albequerque, NM; Suzanne Heiser, Milton; &

Brook Ford, Alpharetta

8 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren
