Obituary for Randall Densmore

Randall Densmore, age 63, of Marble Hill, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at his residence after battling cancer for 11 years. For about 40 years he continued the business started by his father of opening and closing of graves for several funeral homes in the North Georgia area. He was a U.S. Army Sgt., a Vietnam War Veteran, a member of the Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 970 Dawsonville and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Chris White, Rev. Rodney Pilcher and Rev. Gary Keown officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment church cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM on Tuesday, all day Wednesday and until the funeral hour on Thursday.



He was preceded in death by his daughters, Brenda and Linda Densmore, Pamela Densmore, Jamie Harper and father, James (Spud) Densmore.



Survivors include his wife, Dinah Densmore, Marble Hill; daughters, Peggy Densmore, Ellijay,

Christy (Jerome) Williams, Marble Hill, Mindi Bramlett, Marble Hill, Brittany Densmore, Ball Ground;

son, Jody (Alison) Densmore, Ball Ground; son-in-law, Ryan Harper; mother, Helen Densmore, Jasper; brothers, Jerry Densmore, Ball Ground, Donald Densmore, Acworth; sisters, Evelyn Williams, Jasper,

Dianne Fox, Tate, Janice Childers, Jasper; grandchildren, Meagan Johnson, Mackenzie Lawson, Claire Williams, Myles Bramlett, Kayla Bramlett, Landon Harper, Raegan Densmore; great grandchildren, Kayson Williams and Tanner Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
