Claude, Virginia and Families,

Sherri & I am so sorry for your loss. I am shocked and heart broken as I know ya'll are. Allene was such a kind person, always doing for others. I am so glad I got to know her many years back. We had lots of good times and laughs. She was such a great friend and always treated me like family. She would often invite me to Oakdale when they were having a singing and I always enjoyed it! I pray for peace and comfort for you and the family in the coming days. Please know that we are here for you if you need anything.

Allene was truly a virtuous woman. I first met her in 1973 and she and I taught a Bible School class. Her gentleness and kindness were evident in everything she did. She made it her mission to visit the shut ins of the church. When my mother-in-law Callie Page was house bound she faithfully visited and made her day. She and Joyce Pitts were faithful in visiting. Allene organized birthday dinners for her shut-ins and made the occasion special. I can truly say she was a life well lived. She did so much for the cause of Christ. She will be very missed.
