Obituary for Nellie Kate Edwards (Buffington)

Nellie Kate Buffington Edwards, age 92, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of Hightower Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Thursday, October 31, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Gerral Richards, and Rev. Ronnie McCormick officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, and from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour on Thursday at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by: Parents: Robert & Maude Buffington; Husband: Jay Y. Edwards

Survivors include:
Son: Mike Edwards, Canton
Daughters: Sandra (Lawrence) Fitts, Canton; Karen Edwards (John Lewis), Canton,
Grandchildren: Andrea & Jeff Whidby, Canton; Jason & Cathy Fitts, Canton; Jordan Lewis, Canton, Great Grand Children: Katie Whidby, Canton; Logan & Gavin Fitts, Canton, Several Nieces & Nephews and loving cat Ally
