Obituary for Myrtle Mae Edwards (Little)

Myrtle Little Edwards,was born Thanksgiving Day Nov. 25,1915 and passed away at the age of 97 on August 29,2013.

She was the oldest of 8 children born to Harvey and Stella Little. During World War II she worked at NBC in New York and as an office worker at Lockheed. Prior to her 27 year career at Jones Merchantile Company, she had a home sewing and alterations business. After retirement she enjoyed making her yard a garden show place. She survived The Great Depression and two World Wars and always said you can do anything you set your mind to do.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Sunday, September 01, 2013, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Davis, and Rev. Fred Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2013, and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 01, 2013 at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years-James A. (Dynamite) Edwards, two sisters and three brothers.

Daughter - Linda (Danny) Bell, Canton, GA
Grand Child - Kelly Rebecca Bell, Canton,
Grand Child - Kathryn Brooke (Jeremiah) Edelen, Canton,
Brother - Austin (Ann) Little, Morganton,
Brother - Herman Little, Canton,
Great Grand Child - Roman James Edelen, Canton,
Several Nieces and Nephews
