Obituary for Mina H. Johnson (Padgett)

Mina H. Johnson, age 85, of Canton, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Fulton Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Samples and Rev. Joey Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ellijay. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Fairst. Survivors include her husband, Bill Johnson, Canton; son, Larry Fairst, Blairsville and stepson, Michael Johnson, Roswell; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at South Canton Funeral Home, 3147 Marietta Hwy., Canton, GA 30114 (770) 479-3377.
