Obituary for Mary Estelle Owens (Lang)

Mary Estelle Owens, 98, Canton, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010. She retired from Sears and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, Acworth. Funeral services 2:00 pm, Sunday, Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home, Rev. Mike Ware and Rev. Dan Henderson officiating. Interment Cherokee Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by husband, Ernest Rena Owens and son, Dannie Lang Owens. Survivors include sons, Ernest (Dottie) Owens, Suches, Clarence (Joyce) Owens, Marietta; daughter, Marjean (Edgar) Morris, Canton; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 8:00 pm Saturday. South Canton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements (770)479-3377
