Obituary for Marty Daniel McTaggart

Born in Cherokee Co., GA on Jul. 8, 1958

Marty Daniel McTaggart, age 51, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at his residence. He was a highly decorated firefighter for the City of Atlanta and a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
Survivors include his companion, Ron Davis, Marietta; stepfather, Greg Chaney; Jasper; brother, Nathan McTaggart, Canton; sisters, Karen L. Arrendale and Sonya Lanier, Canton, Barbara Ingram, Waleska; several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August, 29, 2009 at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Estes officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association Atlanta GA Office, 17 Executive Park, Suite115, Atlanta, GA 30329-2012.
