Obituary for Loy D. Walker

Loy Delano Walker age 78, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Deceased's Residence following a prolonged battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mr. Walker was of the Baptist Faith and was a Korean War Veteran. He owned and operated Loy's Jewelry in Canton for over 40 years.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at South Canton Funeral Home with Chaplain David LaGrande, Rev. C.B. Rogers, and Rev. Ricky Jarrett officiating. Interment will follow at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at South Canton Funeral Home.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GA Mountain Hospice 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143 or to Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Johnny Dean 3342 Refuge Rd., Jasper GA 30143.



Survivors include:

Wife - Helen Walker, Canton, GA

Son - Terry Walker, Canton, GA

Daughter - Sharon (John) Colwell, Ellijay, GA

Sister - Kathryn Norrell, Jasper, GA

2 Grandchildren

2 Great Grandchildren
