Obituary for Linda Scott

Born in Fulton Co., GA on Jul. 12, 1938

Linda Scott, age 71, of Hartwell (formerly of Alpharetta) passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell. Survivors include her husband, Jere Scott, Hartwell; son, Stanley Scott, Hartwell; daughter, Kristen Scott, Carrollton; brother, Irvin Dutton, Nicholson; sister, Ann Masters, Dacula and Vickie Reid, Royston; grandchilderen, Charles, Scott and Kristen Adams and several nieces and nephews. The family will recieve friends from 4 until 10 p.m. on Friday and until the funeral hour on Saturday. South Canton Funeral Home & Chapel in charge of arrangements (770) 479-3377.
