Lillie Guyton Carver 89 of Jasper, GA a long time resident of both Cherokee and Pickens counties passed away while in Woodstock Nursing Center on April 25th, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Carver and parents Griffin Guyton and Annie Dora Beck Guyton, 5 Brothers: Efford, Albert, Roscoe, Marvin, and Garland Guyton.

She is survived by her two sons and Daughters-in-law, Leslie Darryl and Carmen H. Carver of Jasper, GA., Donald E. and Martha Carver of Douglasville, GA., and one daughter and Son-in-law Judy C. and Alex Nunez of Dacula, GA., 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren, one step Grand-daughter, 2 step-Grandchildren, and 2 step-Great-Great Grandchildren. One brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Christine Guyton of Umberlingen, Germany, sister and Brother-in-law, Loretta and Ralph Aldredge of Milner, GA., sister, Sue Wadkins of Atlanta, GA. Many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors also survive.


Funeral services for Ms. Carver are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, April 27th from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral home with Keith Guyton officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 26th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made the the American Heart Association.
