Obituary for John Clarence Weatherby

John Clarence Weatherby age 99, of Ball Ground, passed away Sunday, July 03, 2011 at Canton Nursing Center. Mr. Weatherby retired from Canton Textile Mills, was a member and Deacon at Hopewell Baptist Church, a WWII Army Veteran and a member of Sharp Top Masonic Lodge. He was an avid farmer and loved working in his garden.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 05, 2011, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Grant Wade, Rev. Johnny McPherson, Rev. Matt Foster and Rev. Greg Weatherby officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.



Survivors include his son, Mark (Pam) Weatherby, Ball Ground; brother, George Luther Weatherby, Canton; grandchildren, Clint Weatherby and Mandy (Chris) Bouldin, both of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Seth Bouldin, Cody Bouldin, Aleigh Bouldin and Matthew Weatherby.



The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 03, 2011, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Monday, July 04, 2011 and until the funeral hour on Tuesday.
