Obituary for John R. Brown
John Robert Brown, age 71, of Gainesville, GA formally of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, June 05, 2013 at Northeast Ga. Medical Center.
Mr. Brown was a graduate of Cherokee High School in 1959 and of UGA in 1963. He had a successful business career in accounting with Pet Bakery in Atlanta and with Etcon Staffing in Gainesville.
Graveside Service are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Friday, June 07, from Cherokee Memorial Park with Rev. Mike Ware officating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 06, 2013 at South Canton Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by both parents: John F. Brown & Marguerite Brown
Survivors include:
Wife - Karren Brown, Gainesville, GA
Son - John L. (Peggy) Brown, Canton,
Son - Jeff Brown, Acworth,
Daughter - Lisa (Darryl) Shadburn, Gainesville,
Daughter - Kim (Tony) Towe, Gainesville,
Sister - Ann (Douglas) Rutledge, Canton,
Sister - Nanci (Dan) Hatcher, Douglasville,
Sister - Carol Lavoie, Waycross,
5 - Grandchildren
