Jim Chafin, age 80, of Woodstock, GA passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, & grandfather. Mr. Chafin was a member of New Victoria Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Murphy, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 12, 2021, and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents - Ray & Modist Chafin & Sister - Kay Pittman.

Survivors include:
Wife - June Chafin
Son - Judah & Amanda Chafin
Daughter - Valerie & Scott Wallace
Grand Daughters - Kayla Wallace, Kyleigh Wallace, & Ellie Chafin
Sisters - Judy Johnson, Carol Smallwood, & Ella Ivey
Numerous other family & friends also survive.
