Obituary for Jeanette Barnes (Evans)

Jeanette Barnes, age, 70, of Canton, died on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Metropolitan Hospice. She was the owner and operator of Double J Kennels and was of Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2010, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Edmondson officiating. Interment will follow in Sixes Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, J.W. Barnes, Canton; son, Todd Barnes, Canton; daughter, Paula Green, Canton; brothers, Thomas Evans, Johnny Wayne Evans and Henry Evans, Cartersville; grandchildren, Corey Green, Will Green, Andrew Green and Christen Barnes; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and until the funeral hour on Sunday.
