Obituary for James Wilson Tolbert

James Wilson Tolbert age 80, of Cumming, GA passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Embracing Hospice. He was a retired HVAC Installation Technician, a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, a member of the American Legion and a Deacon at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Jimmie Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, November 17, 2011, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 18, 2011 at South Canton Funeral Home.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Tolbert.



Survivors include daughters, Faye D. Holbrook, Cumming, Sharon (Ronnie) Cronan, Dawsonville, Jean (Rickey) Waddell, Holly Springs, Sue (Charlie) Peace, Panama City Beach, FL, and Lynne (Craig) Lee, Ball Ground; brothers, Max Tolbert, Marvin Tolbert and J.D. Tolbert, all of AL; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
