James E. Stone, age 89, of Woodstock, GA passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his residence. He enjoyed yard work and gardening. James was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Woodstock and loved his friends and family. He took great pride in his police work and the city.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Saturday, August 29, 2020, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Henry Lackey, and Chief Calvin Moss officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday, August 28, 2020, and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by: Son: James Curtis Stone, Brother: Millard Stone, Sister: Lillie Mae Christopher

Daughter - Cheryl Ann Stone Davis
Daughter - Terri Lynn Stone Ayers
Sister - Martha and Donald Brownlee
Grandchildren - Brian James Johnson, Shawn Allen Davis, Hannah Nichole Ayers and Christle Leigh Helton
