J. A. Whidby, age 87, of Ball Ground, GA passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at His Residence. He was a loving husband, uncle, great uncle and friend. J.A. served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Sharp Top Masonic Lodge, a deacon & pillar of Sharp Mtn. Baptist Church, & a "God Called" Sunday School Teacher. J.A. loved The Lord & served his fellow man with all his heart.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from the Sharp Mtn. Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Burt, and Rev. Teddy Blanton officiating. Interment will follow at Sharp Mtn Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 25, 2024 until the funeral hour on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Sharp Mtn. Baptist Church

Wife - Jane Whidby
Sister - Leo Bishop
Nephew - Jack Bishop

Uncle/Cousin - Dr. Perry Lee Little
