Obituary for Hollis Linvel Carter
Hollis Linvel Carter, age 93, of Canton, GA passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Manor Lake Assisted Living. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Carter served in the United State Marine Corp in Korea.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, on Monday, May 1, 2023, from the Georgia National Cemetery.Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra (“Sandy”); Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to include Heather, (the daughter of loved ones passed, Barbara “Dee Dee”), and her son Zach; Scott, (his wife Cynthia), and sons Nicholas, (his wife Heather), their children Scotlyn and Max, and Nathan, (his wife Hillary), and their children Monica and Meadow; loved ones passed son, Chuck, and his surviving children, April, (her husband Clint), and their daughter Ari, and Allen, (his wife Marie), and their children Jeshua, Chloe, Luke and Leah.
Surviving Sister, Shirley, and many nieces and nephews.
**There will be a gathering at Red Top Beach Rd., Cartersville, GA 30121, Pavilion #7 immediately following the service. All family and friends are invited to attend.**
