Obituary for Harold Lee Shuler

Harold Lee Shuler, age 85, of Ball Ground, GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at his home. Harold proudly served the Cobb County Community as a Fire Fighter for 25 years, retiring as a Sergeant in 1994. He served in the Air Force from January 14, 1957 to January 13, 1961 and received an Honorable Discharge as an Airman Second Class. Harold served in the Air Force Reserves until 1984. He was trained as an aircraft mechanic and subsequently worked for Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Ga. before becoming a Fire Fighter in 1969.

While in the Air Force he learned the game of golf and became an avid player. He continued playing golf until December 2019. Harold enjoyed buying and restoring antique cars and trucks.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Monday, March 16, 2020, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The Family is requesting a private graveside service following the Funeral.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2020, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, March 16, 2020 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Mattie and Hobert Shuler, Siblings: Paul Shuler, Louise (Toby) Randolph, Helen (Clarence) Walton, Gerald (Mae) Shuler, Robert Shuler, Walter (Betty) Shuler, Children: Bryan Bray, Michael Shuler and Lisa Bray Harvey.

Survivors include:

Daughter - Pam (Chris) Lane
Daughter - Paula (David) Fielder
Son - Hank (Pat) Bray
Brother - Glen (Caroline) Shuler
23 - Grandchildren
18 - Great Grandchildren
1 - Great Great Grand Child
Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and other Family also survive.
