Obituary for Haley Wilson Serroels (Wilson)

Haley Ethelyn Wilson Serroels, age 25, passed away at Kennestone Hospital on 9/26/2022. She was surrounded by loving family who never left her side throughout her recent battle with Stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Haley was a light to all who knew her, a sarcastic, hilarious treasure. She loved animals and bugs from the time she was little, ranging from cicadas plucked from the propane tank at Nana’s to her many cats, dogs, birds, fish, geckos, and more. It was always worth her time to care for an animal, no matter how sick or small. She had a keen appreciation for the absurd and always made everyone laugh with her hilarious, witty comments. We will treasure her forever.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Barry Healey, Sr., and Wallace Wilson, and grandmother, Miriam Ethelyn Wilson. Survived by:

Mother - Tina and Tommy West
Father - Paul and Teresa Wilson
Sisters - Kristen and Andrea Lahmers and Elizabeth West
Brothers - Michael Wilson, Jacob Elliott, Michael West and Conner West
Grandmother - Teresa Healey
Godmother - Angie and Darren Palmer
Nieces - Ava and Maeve Lahmers
Nephew - Simon Lahmers
Spouse - Jordan Serroels
And numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
