Obituary for Galen Leroy Mitchell

Galen Leroy Mitchell, age 86, of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Mr. Mitchell was a U.S. Army Veteran, was an active U.S. Coast Guard, and retired from Ryan Aeronautical.

He was of the Catholic faith and a member of Our Lady of La Salette.



Graveside Services are scheduled for 9:30 AM, on Wednesday, July 03, 2013, at Georgia National Cemetery with Father Victor Reyes officiating.

Wife - Marie Mitchell, Canton, GA

Son - Bruce Mitchell, CA,

Son - James Mitchell, CA,

Son - Robert Mitchell, CA,

Son - Thomas Mitchell, OR,

Daughter - Kathleen Sirkis, CA,

Brother - Roger Mitchell, ME,

Sister - Eileen Decteau, FL,

Several Grandchildren
