Obituary for Cotton Burnette

Cotton Burnette, age 75, of Canton, GA went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 03, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family and friends. Cotton was a member of Carmel Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia and was an ordained deacon. He owned and operated Burnette Gutter Service until he retired. He was a Hot Rod Car Enthusiast and loved car shows and working on Hot Rod Cars. Cotton lived life to its fullest and loved making people laugh. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Saturday, March 06, 2021, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Jordan Runion and Rev. Don Williams officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodstock.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 05, 2021, and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 06, 2021 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Father: William Burnette, Mother: Naomi Burnette, Brother: Hansell Burnett, Sister: Jeanette Hughes, Brother: Robert Burnette, Brother: Harold Dean Burnette, Brother: Larry Burnette, Sister: Marilyn Butler, Sister: Evelyn Rakestraw

Survivors include:
Wife - Judy Burnette
Daughter - Jennifer (Chris) Lee
Sister - Linda Densmore
Grand Daughter - Emme Lee
Grand Son - Myles Lee
Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Family request that no food be brought to the Funeral Home and due
to COVID-19, family request that Masks be worn during the Visitation
and the Funeral Service.
