Obituary for Charles Hoyt Williams, Sr.

"Though he may have came into this world without a lot of love, he sure is leaving it with a lot."

Charles Hoyt Williams, Sr., age 89, of Woodstock, GA passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Charles was born in Whitwell Tennessee on March 29, 1930.

Daughter - Pam (Darryl) Law, Woodstock,
Grandchildren - Stephanie Wortham, Shana (Bryan) Luke, Summer (Ramzey) Boyd, Kendall Williams, Amanda (Jacob) McGlincy, Haden Law
Great Grand Children - Skylar Luke, Charles Williams, Maximus Wortham, Bryanna Luke, Brodie Boyd, Charlie Luke, Tate Boyd, Alexandra Wortham, Hudson Boyd, Miller McGlincy, Olivia McGlincy

Charles served in the US Navy from 1948-1952, shortly after, he met the love of his life, Marie Tipton. They married in 1954. They were married for 53 wonderful years. He worked as a computer technician, often working all day and then attending technical school at night. He received multiple degrees as an electronic and television technician. He retired after 40 faithful years. Charles became a father in 1956 to his son, Charles Williams Jr. and then again in 1960 to his daughter Pamela (Williams) Law. He later became Grandpa to 6 grandchildren and loving Poppop to 10 (1 on the way) great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Williams. Though his family will miss him so, there is happiness knowing they are together again.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2019, at South Canton Funeral home.

There will also be a visitation on Saturday, April 20th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Henry Cochran funeral home in Blue Ridge, GA.
