Obituary for Carl Edward Peardon Sr.

Carl Edward Peardon, Sr., age 75, of Shannon, GA formerly of Canton, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at his residence. He was self-employed and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2011, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Ware, Rev. Willie B. Sutton, and Rev. Huey Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends until the funeral hour Sunday at 2:00.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Peardon - Shannon; sons, Michael Peardon (Mendy) – Canton, Terry Peardon (Shelia) – Hartwell, Carl Peardon, Jr. (Crystal) – Canton; daughters, Carol Segars (Jimmy Smith) – Royston, Joyce Tatum – Canton, Suzie Bailey (Warren) – Canton, Cindy Stancil – Canton; brothers, Leroy Peardon – Canton, Edcil Peardon – Canton, Jerry Peardon – Holly Springs, Donald Peardon - Canton; sister, Margaret Sewell - Canton; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
