Obituary for Brenda Louise Rogers (Mills)
Brenda Louise Rogers, Age 74 passed away peacefully in her family home on Thursday February 17,2022 with her beloved husband at her side. She undoubtably went to be with our Lord and Savior in heaven.
Brenda was born on August 12,1947 to her mother Pauline Mills and father
Julius Mills, while growing up she valued her time that she spent with her grand parents and looked forward to the holidays with all the big family gatherings that followed. She graduated from Lithonia High School in 1965 and was a proud Georgia native. Brenda planted her roots in 1975 with her husband of 46 years Loyd Rogers. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, and was delighted in writing. Most of all she loved God and cherished her growing family.
She is survived by her husband, Loyd Rogers of Canton, son Bobby Rogers and wife Melissa, daughter Dorie Caraballo and husband Tony, son Matthew Rogers and stepdaughter Kerry Rider and husband David.
Ten grandchildren- Shelby Hardy, Leslie Faulkner, Melody Miller, Bailey Rogers, Annabelle Caraballo, Anthony Caraballo, Aiden Caraballo, AJ Caraballo, Kalli Pruett and Gabe Pruett.
Nine Great Grandchildren- Lexie, Kalyla, Kailynn, Drake, Drew, Hannah Marie, Lainey Rae, Cooper and Kennedy
Brother-in-law Billy Law, Niece Joanna Atkinson, Nephews Nick Law, Scott Law, Alvin Griggs and Dustin Griggs.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father Julius Mills and her mother Pauline Mills, her brother Richard Dale Mills, and her sister Connie Law.
The family will hold visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 at the South Canton Funeral Home on Sunday February 20, 2022. Following the visitation Reverend Terry Caylor will officiate the service at 3:00 pm.
