Billy Ray Fortner, age 75, of Ball Ground, GA passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. He was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church in the Clayton Community. Billy was self employed and owned and operated B & R Electrical for 31 years.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Bryant, and Rev. Jerry Clayton officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery in the Clayton Community.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, and from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Lonnie Evans and Brother: Randall Wilson,

Son - William (Darlene) Fortner
Grandsons - William and Chris Fortner
Great Grandsons: Logan and Matthew Fortner
Mother - Mary Evans Wilson
Sister - Marie Evans
Brothers - Ray Wilson and Bobby (Ann) Wilson
