Obituary for Billy J. Cleghorn Sr.

Bill J. Cleghorn, Sr., age 77, of Jasper (formerly of Holly Springs), passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Heritage Healthcare. He retired from General Motors and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. David Roper and Bishop Lance Johnson officiating. Mr. Cleghorn was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Cleghorn. Survivors include his sons, Billy (Jorene) Cleghorn, Canton, Barry (Lisa) Cleghorn , Hickory Flat and Brian (Jennie) Cleghorn, Jasper; brother, Bobby (Sarah) Cleghorn, Waleska; grandchildren, Brandy Barden, Jacob Cleghorn, Kayla Cleghorn, Zach Cleghorn, Grayson Cleghorn and Noah J. Cleghorn. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday. South Canton Funeral Home, Canton (770)479-3377.
