Obituary for Bill Harbin Jr.

Bill Harbin, Jr., age 78, of Canton, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Serenity House. He was a retired painter, a Korean War Veteran and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery. Survivors include his son, Billy Harbin, Marietta; daughters, Ronda Cowart, Canton and Tamara Pair, Jasper; brother, Rev. Sam Harbin, Canton; sisters, Ann Croft, Canton, Pat Satterfield, Calhoun and Martha Mitchell, Adairsville; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 until 10:00 p,m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
