Obituary for Betty Darnell (Crowe)

Betty Crowe Darnell age 78, of the Hickory Flat Community, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Friday, May 13, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Ware officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, on Thursday from 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM, and until the funeral hour on Friday.

She is survived by: children, Michael & Pat Morris, Scott & Heather Darnell, and Ernie & Kelly Darnell all of Hickory Flat. Kim Fowler of Canton, and Tinya & Steve Page of Jasper.

Grandchildren, Kevin Morris of Waynesboro, TN; Kristy (Greg) Clyburn, Traci (Jacob) Carnes of Hickory Flat; Paige (Nathan) Ogle, Covington; Jason McArthur, Joey (Heather) McArthur of Jasper; David Darnell, Brannon Darnell, Case Darnell, and Clay Darnell of Hickory Flat.

Great grandchildren, Georgia Beth Morris, Jackson Morris, Dakota Hughes, Zoe Carnes, Thacker Carnes, Boo Carnes, Makayla Cagle, Riley Clyburn, Preston Clyburn, Jarrett McArthur, and Khloe McArthur.

Niece, Debbie Short; nephews, Jeff & Blake Hulsey. She also leaves behind her beloved dog "Bandit".

Pallbearers are her 7 grandsons, and "special sons" H.A. Hobgood, and J.R. McCurry.
