Obituary for Betty Champion (Henson)

Betty Champion, age 77, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at her residence. She worked at Walmart as a greeter and was a member of McHelen Baptist Church.



Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00 PM, on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Goodwin and Brother Eddie Henson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park,



She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Champion, and grandson, Jamie Blackwell. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Croy, Canton; brother, Eddie Henson, Sr., Canton; sisters, Jane Rampley, Canton and Faye Cloud, Jasper; grandson, Andre Blackwell, Canton; 7 great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, all day until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and until the funeral hour on Saturday.
