Obituary for Beth H. Crowson (Holder)

Martha Elizabeth Holder Crowson, "Beth" 85, of Waleska Georgia, passed away gently, Monday December 20th, surrounded by family.
A memorial service in her honor will be held January 8th at 2pm, at the First Methodist Church of Waleska. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2pm. A celebration of life will be held at the home of her daughter Elizabeth at 1515 Little Refuge Rd, Waleska immediately following the memorial.

Beth was born October 5th 1936 in Atlanta Georgia, the daughter of Belton and Georgia Holder. She was a graduate of Westminister High School and Stetson University. Beth was a stewardess for Southern Airways where she met her future husband William James Crowson. (Pilot)
Beth and Bill were married in May of 1958 and from there she began her life as a wife and mother. Together they had 3 wonderful children.
Beth was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She always knew how to light up a room. Her infectious laugh would soon have others laughing.
After the loss of her husband and her retirement, Beth spent her time working various jobs but found a home at Brown's Grocery. Beth spent many years there making more and more friends everyday.
Beth loved people, she loved Elvis, and she loved animals, especially birds.
Beth was always willing to help others. Many lives will forever be touched by Beth. She will be greatly missed.

Beth is proceeded in death by her husband Bill and sister Penny.
Survivors include,
Daughter, Elizabeth Raymond (Ed Dawson) of Waleska Ga.
Son, William James Crowson 111,(Billy) of Apache Junction Az.
Daughter, Caroline Crowson of Waleska Ga.
Brother, Troy Holder and family, Roswell Ga.
Grandchildren, Dakota, Sydney, Hannah, Amanda, Jessica, Rebecca, and 6 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beth's final resting place will be at the Marietta National Cemetery beside her loving husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "All the fixins" in Ball Ground.
