Benny Harvey Blanton, age 83, of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, November 09, 2022 at his residence surrounded by loving family and friends. Benny was an ordained deacon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and he loved to hike and travel.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow at Pugh Family Cemetery, Hog Farm Circle (off Epperson Road, Canton, GA 30114)

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 11, 2022, and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2022 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Dillard and Mary Blanton and Brother: Wayne Blanton
