Obituary for Aner Smith (Shadburn)

Aner Smith age 97, of Waleska, GA passed away Friday, December 09, 2011 at Northside Hospital Cherokee .

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Sunday, December 11, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Waddell, and Rev. Leon Petit officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday and until the funeral hour Sunday at South Canton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, JT Smith, daughter, Patsy Ann Smith, son Jason Smith Jr., son in law, Lester Padgett.

Survivors include: daughter, Mary Ratcliff, Waleska; grandchild, Michelle (Fred) Mcelwaney, Jasper; great grand children, Sierra, Gigi, Kayla, Chloe, and Aidan Mcelwaney all of Jasper; brother-in-law, Edward (Evelyn) Smith, Canton; sister-in-law, Ruth Shadburn, Canton. several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
