Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Frank Guthrie can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

driving with Allan

Today Allan and I had to go to Roswell and during the drive two memories came up.  First you would drive longer routes to keep from making left had turns.  Remember LaVerne couldn't understand why you always seemed to take the "long" routes - until you explained it was safer to turn left instead of right

The other thing was a man was mowing and throwing all the cut weeds onto the road instead of making sure they went back into his yard.  I know you hated that and Jody told me you were waving your hands and yelling at him to make him understand that you wanted him to mow the grass so the weeds would go in the "correct" direction.  He gets a laught out of telling that story.

Today has been rough - we received a card from your Wanda (Home Health Nurse) the one from Savannah.  She wrote.  Mr. Guthrie was a special man who warmed my heart - I believe she was the last person you talked to beside me - Remember she was backing out when I came back from shop from weed eating - she rolled down her window and said you were cutting up with her and telling her stories of old times.  I wish I could hear you tell some now.  I miss you so much.

Also rec'd card from Charles and Betty Chesser - so sweet - they sent their two soms to represents them - I so enjoyed talking to them.

I'll go for now .  Will probably write for awhile it seems to calm me down - I hope no one minds. I love you so much
