He is preceded in death by: Parents- Richard and Mamie Abernathy, Sister- Joycie Yancey, Brother- Fred Abernathy, Nephew- Bradley Yancey, Sister- Martha Ann Abernathy, Grandma- Mollie Florence Defriese Reece.
Survivors include:
Brother - Roy Dale Abernathy
Sister - Deborah Ingram
Sister - Brenda Jordan
Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
